MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION : ENGLISH

GENERAL RULES OF THE SCHOOL: 
School hours: 8.55 A.M. to 3.30 P.M.
  The Teachers and the students are expected to be in the school premises by 8.50 A.M.

 

  1. New admission are made only to K.G. and infant classes of the Primary Section. Admission in other classes of Secondary Section depends on the availability of seats and the competence of   the student at the admission test.
  2. There will be no new admission in Class X. For pupils to be admitted in the K.G. and infant classes Birth   certificate issued by the competent authority must be submitted.
  3. Pupils coming from a recognized school are required to submit a transfer certificate from the School last attended.
  4. No transfer Certificate will be issued unless it is requested in writing by the parents / Guardians and all the dues to the school are paid.
  5. Until and unless a pupil clears his fees within the stipulated date his name will not be entered in the class register and will also be debarred from appearing in any class examination.
  6. Anyone using unfair means in the examination will be dealt strictly with and will be debarred from further examination
  7. Use of Drugs, Liquors, and Smoking etc. in the school compound is totally prohibited. Any body found indulging in these evil habits will be expelled from the school.
  8. A pupil who fails twice in the same class will be issued with a transfer certificate.

DISCIPLINE
This Institution being a boys school with large number of pupils coming from distant places has a strict but essential discipline system. A student is to abide by the rule and regulation of the school. A boy who is not averse to the discipline will be asked to leave the school.

Parents / guardians and students are expected to abide by the decision of the Discipline Committee / Academic council. They are asked to co-operate with the work of the school by enforcing regulation and discipline and also by taking general interest in the progress of the children.

 

  1. Irregular attendance habitual idleness, disobedience or bad conduct are sufficient reason for the dismissal of a pupil.
  2. No pupils shall directly or indirectly take part in political activity nor shall be indulged in any sort of activities prejudicial to his studied and reputation of the Institution. 
  3. Politeness and Courtesy of speech and conduct are expected from all pupils within and outside the school.
  4. No leave of absence will be sanctioned without written application from Parents and Guardians. 
  5. No pupils may leave the school campus without prior permission of the Principal or the Class Teachers.
  6. All damage to the school property willfully done must be repaired by the culprit himself.

UNIFORMS:         

The school uniform is compulsory on class day. Every student must wear a clean and complete uniform daily. Parents and Guardians are requested to adhere strictly to this rule. A pupil who comes without the proper school uniform may be sent back to home.

(d) Black cardigan / pullover with school emblem (During Winter)

(f) Black shoes (Leather flat heel)

(g) Navy blue socks (No chapals are permitted)

2.  Uniform for Secondary Section upto class X:

(a) White shirts

(b) Black Shorts / Trousers 

(c) School tie and School badge

(d) Pullover with school emblem

(e) School T. Shirt 

(f) Black shoes and navy black socks.

3.  Higher Secondary Section:

(a) Cream shirts

(b) Black trousers

(c) School tie and School badge

CURRICULARS :          
The institution is a composite one with provision for teaching from Kindergarten (K.G.) to the Higher Secondary stage with facilities for teaching General course (Humanities and Science) and Vocational Course (Agriculture).

1.  ACADEMIC PROVISION FOR MADHYAMIC PARIKCHA (SECONDARY EDUCATION) UNDER WEST BENGAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION.

This institution has provision for teaching all the compulsory subjects in IX / X. The students are required to take any one of the following subjects as fourth elective as an optional.

  (a)  HINDI or (b)  WORK EDUCATION

There is a graded PHYSICAL TRAINING programme for students of IX / X.  
School, offers 'English' as First Language in Classes IX & X with Nepali as Second Language. 

2.  ACADEMIC PROVISION FOR HIGHER SECONDARY SECTION : Classes XI / XII under Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.

(A)  SCIENCE SECTION - PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY, MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTER APPLICATION.

In this section students may select any three (3) as compulsory elective subject and one as optional Group (B):

(B)  HUMANITIES SECTION - HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY, POLITICAL SCIENCE, ECONOMICS AND ECONOMIC GEOGRAPHY.

(C) VOCATIONAL COURSE (AGRICULTURE)
